Apple iPhone 13 vs Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max
Our Verdict: The iPhone 14 Pro Max is the follow-up to the iPhone 13 a year later, so the two are close. The 14 Pro Max 5G leads on camera hardware with a 48MP main sensor to the 13's 12MP, and the 14 Pro Max 5G has the bigger battery of the two, 4323mAh against 3227mAh, which usually means longer between charges. The 14 Pro Max 5G offers up to 1TB of storage versus 512GB on the 13, and the 14 Pro Max 5G has the bigger screen, 6.7" against 6.1". The 14 Pro Max 5G is worth the extra if the updates matter to you, but the 13 is a good buy if the price has dropped.
Over a full contract, the 13 works out around £398 all-in, about £385 less than the 14 Pro Max 5G.
