Who we are
www.smartphonechecker.co.uk is run by Smartphone Checker Ltd ("we" or "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17516017. Our registered office is 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. You can contact us at info@smartphonechecker.co.uk.
These terms apply when you use the site. By using it you agree to them.
What we do
Smartphone Checker compares mobile phone, tablet, smartwatch and SIM deals from UK retailers and networks. It's free to use and you don't need an account.
We don't sell phones or airtime. When you click "Get Deal" you go to the retailer's or network's own website. Any order you place is a contract between you and them, on their terms. They are responsible for the order, delivery, credit checks, returns, cancellations, billing and customer service. We can't see or change your order.
How we're paid
When you click "Get Deal" and buy, the retailer or network may pay us a commission. It doesn't change the price you pay. Our deal lists are sorted by monthly or total cost, not by how much we're paid. We don't list every deal on the market, only those from the retailers and networks we get data from. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Prices and deal details
Prices, allowances, gifts and stock come from data the retailers and networks send us, which we update regularly. Deals can change or end between our updates, and the data we receive may sometimes contain errors. Total cost figures are our own calculation from the details we have, to help you compare.
Always check the price and full details on the retailer's website before you order. If they differ from what we show, the retailer's details are the ones that apply. If you spot a mistake, please let us know.
Not advice
Our comparisons and guides are general information to help you choose. They aren't financial advice or a personal recommendation, and we don't know your circumstances. Whether you're accepted for a contract is decided by the network or retailer, not by us.
Using the site
Please don't:
- use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent
- send automated requests at a rate that slows the site down or disrupts it, or try to get round our security or rate limits
- copy our deal data or content in bulk to use in another service without our permission
We may block access to anyone who does.
Our content
The site's design, text, guides and comparisons belong to us or are used with permission. You're welcome to read them, share links to them and quote short parts with a link back. Phone names, network names, logos and product images belong to their owners. Showing them doesn't mean those companies endorse us.
Links to other websites
We link to retailers, networks and other websites that we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, products, services or how they use your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Availability
The site is free and we provide it as it is. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of errors or up to date. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it.
Our responsibility to you
We aren't responsible for products or services you buy from a retailer or network, or for loss caused by a deal changing or ending, or by information in a retailer's data feed being wrong. We aren't responsible for loss we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for any business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Our Privacy and Cookie Policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and how we use it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. The version on this page when you use the site is the one that applies.
