Sony Xperia 1 vs Sony Xperia 1 III 5G

Name: Sony Xperia 1 III 5G
Brand: Sony
Availability: InStock

Our Verdict: Both Xperia 1 and Xperia 1 III have 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED displays; the III adds 120Hz refresh, 5G and a variable telephoto lens. The original is lighter at 178g versus 186g, while Sony lists a 3,330mAh battery for it and 4,500mAh for III; capacity alone does not establish longer runtime. Pick the III for faster scrolling and 5G, or the original for a slightly lighter frame.
