The 8 Pro 5G has the stronger screen, bigger at 6.7" against 6.3" and sharper at 513 PPI, and the 8 Pro 5G is the lighter phone at 0g against 195g. Get the 8 Pro 5G if you want the newer hardware; if not, the 7 is usually cheaper and does much the same job.
