The 12 Pro Max has the stronger screen, bigger at 6.7" against 6.1" and sharper at 457 PPI, and the 12 Pro Max goes up to 512GB of storage, where the 11 tops out at 256GB. Get the 12 Pro Max if you want the newer hardware; if not, the 11 is usually cheaper and does much the same job.
